Alongside numerous additional services the press pass, ID card and windscreen press ID are all included in the subscription fee. No on-going costs, no monthly contributions: Because from the time of admission onwards only one subscription fee is ever charged. The GNS subscription includes a) the one-off accreditation fee and b) the annual subscription for the current calendar year, which is calculated on a pro rata basis for the remainder of the year only.

A) Calculation of the annual/proportional subscription for the current calendar year: The press pass is valid for the calendar year and the annual subscription therefore always applies only to the current calendar year. Precise invoicing to the month: Regardless of the month in which you register, the annual membership subscription will only ever be calculated based on the remaining calendar year.

Some examples:

It does not matter whether you register in May, August, October or November. The annual subscription is only charged on a pro rata basis from the time of admission. If you register in February then EUR 22.00 will be charged, although you can use the press pass for almost an entire year. There is no disadvantage to only registering towards the end of the year. Even if you register in November or December you will still receive the press pass for the current calendar year.

B) The one-off accreditation fee: This fee is always billed for in full, regardless of the month in which admission takes place. This includes all of the services: Press pass, press ID card, windscreen press ID, accreditation confirmation, certificate, European Journalist Legitimation and much more.

The press pass is reissued with every new year because the document is only valid for the current calendar year. Fair: No additional costs! Issuance of the new pass is included in the annual membership subscription. Membership subscription for the following year: One-off fixed fee of just EUR 41.00. You will receive automatic notification by post in October of each respective year.
